New improvements

• Background check-in for faster performance of checking-in larger assemblies.
  • Checking-in many files at a time or assemblies that have many references can take some time. With Background Check-in you can push the check-in to working in the background so you can continue to work without disruption.
• Integrated DGN and DWG desktop viewer.
  
  • Viewing DWG and DGN files is now made easier with integrated DGN and DWG viewers. These viewers are built in to CAD Manager so you don't have to open them in a separate application.

• Docker support, host CAD Manager from anywhere, on Windows, Linux, or MacOS.
  • Giving CAD Manager Docker support allows the CAD Manager service to be run on any platform that supports Docker containers.  
• Integrated IFC viewer to view BIM files.
  • IFC files are a popular neutral format used to share and view Building Information Modeling (BIM) files. To support our construction industry customers, we are adding IFC viewing capabilities.
• Improved UI for better usability.
  • We are improving the User Interface (UI) of CAD Manager to modernize the look and feel and make it easier to navigate.

Beyond CAD Manager 11.5, we are focusing on creating out-of-the-box solutions to make it easier to add customizable features to your workflow and support emerging technologies. For example, a change management and release module, user interface improvements, and easier web integration. As solutions continue to migrate to cloud and web, this also allows CAD Manager to grow with better UI tools.
